Have you tried Clean and Clear oil absorbing sheets. It takes of excess oil without doing damage to your make up. Very easy to use.

Also try rubbing a slice of lemon and some honey on your face twice a week . Rub the lemon over your skin (it will sting a bit) and then apply a thin layer of honey over the lemon, leave it on for 20-30mins and then wash it off.

The lemon juice helps with oil production and the honey helps make your skin softer and helps with the stinging produced by the lemons.

Drink lots and lots of water, that helps reduce oil production. Try and have at least 8 cups of water a day...it really makes a world of difference.

Ignore nicole. a's answer, applying makeup on problem skin will only make things worse, as your pores get clogged up more with the make up and even more makeup inducing dirt.

Sometimes you can never get rid of oily skin, but you can still have your clear %26amp; gorgeous face, by learning how to maintain your oily skin.

Besides people with oily skin age slower, my mum is 53 and can pass for 40 any day without make up (no surgery too), thanks to her oily skin.

If its just oil that the problem buy some blotting sheets at the drug store or places like Sepora. You can keep them in your bag and use them as often as you need. I think washing to much can also make the problem worse.
Reply:Try using those oil blotter sheets in between classes. ..those work well until you can wash your face. Use toner too...it seals your pores after you wash your face. Also try not to touch your face alot during the day....you can transfer oil from your hands to your face ( you touch your hair and get it on your hands...then transfer it to your face ) That should help
Reply:i dont have oily skin (thank god) but in your case.. you're better off just putting make up on to hide it.. buying products will only make it worse. Lookin at your avatar, a paper bag on your head is your best option. kidding sweetie!
Reply:There isn't a product that will work all day when your pores are overproducing oil. You may be overdrying your skin depending on what you are using to wash it, so that it is producing extra oil to keep it moisturized/hydrated.

It sounds like you have oily skin; most probably in your T-zone, but with fine pores. A simple neutral face powder should help.

The best things you can do for a nice complextion are: eat right (avoid the oily foods; i.e. anything deep fat fried or containing chocolate), get your rest (your body replaces what your environment takes away from it at night in your deep sleep), and wash your face morning and night. My mother taught me these things and I hardly ever had any acne. At forty-five, people still tell me I have beautiful skin.

Washing the face: Use a washcloth. First rinse your face with hot water (only to what you can stand...not burning hot) to open your pores. Then wash with soap, nothing any harsher than Dial. Rinse the soap off with hot water. Rinse again with cold water, several times to reclose the pores. Pat dry.

You'll want a non-oily moisturizer. Do not overdry the skin as it only makes it produce more oil. If you can afford it, the Clinique counter is excellent for skin care. If you have a very limited budget, Dove soap or Noxema work well.

Use standard baby oil and a cotton ball to remove eye makeup first. Never sleep in your make-up.
Reply:well u can use nutrogena(sorry for the mispelled). it can help with the oils in ur pores. Wal-mart has it.
Reply:One Way to get a good complexion is to drink lots of water and also cut out greasy foods in your diet! Eat lots of fruits and back away from soft drinks! These all cause that!
