My mother has these bumps on her arm. They are white and raised. They've just recently become raised, but she says she's always had them (when they weren't raised). They look kinda like mold or some huge clump of dead skin and they're not all that small. She likes to work out in the garden and never wears sun protection ever because she refuses to. My worst fear is that it's skin cancer and I'm really hoping it's not. I'm only 14 and if my mom dies, I'll kill myself. Can somebody just please tell me what this is?!

follow the ABC's asymmetry, borders and color.. mole and beauty marks should be solid and symmetrical.. if not talk to your dermatologist

could also be cholesterol plaque. look it up, see if it looks the same...
Reply:all u can do is just ask your mom if she would go see a doctor about these bumps, espically if it bothers her. Best of luck to your family.
Reply:your mother needs to schedule an appointment with her doctor and/or dermatologist. you need to learn to mind the drama.
