Get whiter, paler, fair skin fast and get rid of your tan naturally WITHOUT BLEACH?
1. use safe and potent skin lightening products - no hydroquinone, mercury or steroids AND potent unlike most commercial products showing little or no results at all.. here's a good source-

http://www.arizona4pinoys.com/best-skin-...

2. use a high spf (50 or better) sunscreen whenever outdoors..

3. take 500 mg vit. C everyday to enhance skin lightening and suppleness..

the above will give you faster and the most effective results.. i've done it.. :-)

Reply:awww. thats really sad i know i shouldent be replying if i know i cant help!!!jeez sorri but a tan sounts great
Reply:you put yogurt on your face and let it dry-icky i know and then you wash it off. you have to do it a couple of times though.
Reply:Baby powder is just gonna lighten your skin temporarily because it's like a white talc powder. You're only covering up the tan. If your skin is naturally tanned, then there's probably not much you can do. If it's a suntan, then just exfoliate a little bit everyday until it fades completely. And use sunscreen. It won't allow you to tan when you go outside. Don't let it upset you. It WILL fade... it just takes time.

Best makeup for my skin type. Help.?

OK, I am a Latin and White female. I have combination skin sometimes dry sometimes oily. My skin is very sensitive and i have breakouts every now and then. I also have Hirstisum. ( male pattern facial hair) but it's all gone with laser(thank god !!) however it leaves my skin a in a state of distress. i don't want to wear heavy makeup i want something light and fresh. Ive gone to Macy's and sephora sooooo many times and they put on so much make-up i look like a drag-queen. yuck. i need some pointers from u fabulous people people out there.... thanx

Foundation:

Instead of foundation, try using something light like a tinted moisturizer or light makeup. Here are some good ones:

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer SPF 20 ($10.99)

Revlon Age Defying Light Makeup SPF 30 ($12.99)

Maybelline Pure Makeup ($ 5.99)

There are more expensive options available in department stores like Sephora:

Stila Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 ($30)

DuWop Revolotion Face ($29)

However, the cheaper drugstore options work just as well.

Blush:

Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush ($6.99)

This blush is exceptionally light and has a very nice texture to it. You can also use:

L'oreal Paris Bare Naturale Gentle Mineral Blush ($14.49)

It's wonderful for a glowy kind of look.

Lip Gloss:

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss ($6.99)

It's very glossy without much stickyness, or from Sephora:

Tarte Inside Out Vitamin Lip Gloss ($21)

Mascara:

If you have naturally nice, thick lashes, you can skip this altogether, but otherwise, a little mascara goes a long way!

I've heard good things about Prescriptives False Eyelash Mascara which is a bit expensive, but my personal favourite is

L'oreal HIP High Drama Volumizing Mascara (under $10)

This routine is very nice and natural for every-day wear, but you can add some neutral or shimmery eyeshadow from Revlon or Clinique to change your look.

Make sure you cleanse your face morning and night (very important especially for acne-prone skin). Since you have sensitive skin, try Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser.

Hope I helped!

try bare minerals, it's very light and really works to even out your skin and reduce the look of redness caused by acne. if you get them to do it at sephora they go WAY overboard, but if you practice on your own you can get it down to looking very natural!
Reply:ok...i too have a mixture of dry and oily skin and i think i would die, if Prescriptives never existed. This is a cosmetic company and they're located in Macy's, their make-up is really light and natural looking. Go there and have them to try it on you and i'm sure you'll like it....

Let me know how it goes, if you try Prescriptives, and another good thing is that they custom blend make-up.
Reply:Try Covergirl's Clean Makeup, Oil Control

Non-drying formula helps control oily shine and won't clog pores. Hope I helped! ~鈾igorousVirgo1995鈾?br>Reply:well i want i would do is get a moisterizer what it will do is add a little color to your face but it doesn't coverup anything i would use it as a base its from burts bees. the get a foundation but not one that is really heavy i recomened the kind by maybelline then touch up in areas that have blemishes or breakouts get a blush that will match your skin tone put it on very lightly (for the color you mentioned your skin i would say a peach or like an orangy not orange but brownish orangish. put on some lipgloss (clear) and mascara and black eyeliner and thats all you need. i hope this works for you.

Help!! My skin is really dry and is acne-prone...!!!?

My skin is really dry every time after I wash my face. I think it is because I overused my acne cream. It contains sulfur as the main ingredient. The skin peels and I have to use a moisturizer. However, after a few hours, my face will become quite oily, especially around the nose area.

Should I switch my acne cream to Dalacin T (lotion)? Is it good? Please give me reviews. Also, I am now on a course of antibiotics (doxycycline). I use Neutrogena Deep Clean cleansing foam to wash my face. Right now, my face has some pimples but the acne scars are quite obvious. Do topical creams get rid of them?

Please help me! Thanks a lot!!
Help!! My skin is really dry and is acne-prone...!!!?
drink more water

and stop being so hard on your face

over washing it can make it dry and prone to acne
Help!! My skin is really dry and is acne-prone...!!!?
Topical creams don't get rid of scars. You will most likely need laser or microdermabraision for the scars at a dermatologists office. Since you are on the antibiotics do not use the acne products on your face as they may be making it worse. Use the Neutrogena wash but then try going without the acne products for a while to give the Doxycycline time to work.
Reply:I used to have acne but then I did a few simple changes. The biggest and most important thing is to drink a lot of water. You'll probably want to drink about 12 cups a day. Also, continue using a light moisturizer. I think your skin regimen sounds fine now but if you really need product help, consult a dermatologist. They'll give you the best answer. Good luck!

Make your skin glow or tan slightly?

What is the best product to give me a subtle tan. Fake tan turns you orange and is way too extreme. Im rather pale so I just want something that will give me a little bit of colour , but not too much.

Also what else could i use to make my skin glow so my skin looks clean and clear and smooth..etc
Make your skin glow or tan slightly?
Neutrogena Summer Glow. I use it and it works really great. It doesn't have an obvious self-tan color (if you know what i mean :P) and it gradually builds a tan so people aren't likely to figure out that you use a self tanner.
Make your skin glow or tan slightly?
use jergens lotion with build a tan in them you can use it and it works dreams while adding a glow to your skin!
Reply:i used jergens natural glow face stuff. and it works for me :] also has SPF 20 and we all need that good stuff. i'm also pale and now i glow. haha. takes abt a week but i love the results! it looks more natural than any other method. good luck =]

Make-up for Blotchy skin..?

I have very pale skin and is quite blotchy so I have to wear foundation... Also, my skin is quite dry at times and my skin always seems to be cracking especially in the cold weather... I hate having to wear foundation everyday, I just wish I could be more natural and wear minimum make-up....

What make-up would you recommend for me to wear to hide the blemishes well but not wear too much make-up?
Make-up for Blotchy skin..?
When you have a wash first of all buy some clense-clear/ or something like that, that will get rid of your cracking up skin. Then once a month you should put on a bit of tanning cream because that will put more colour on your face!
Make-up for Blotchy skin..?
pollyfiller or spackle
Reply:They have this great blemish sticks that are green. I know it looks funny but they cover up anything. Then all you have to do is put a small amount of foundation on that spot, blend well, and powder that pretty face!!! Im not sure of the name but it looks like green lipstick.
Reply:i saw a comershal on tv about fgia or sumthin'!but it clears up EVERYTHING!!!!
Reply:Use bare minerals. It is very light and it will cover up imperfections. I absolutely love this make up and I will never go back to creams.
Reply:Green coversticks are good in small doses, the problem comes in the blending. Its very easy to keep the green cast from the product and only end up enhancing what you were trying to cover. I would suggest finding a good powder based foundation. For a good one you made need to pay a bit more but they last longer and feel nice. For a slightly heavier but very soft finish try Studio Fix by Mac (I love this stuff, it has staying power I promise), for a loose powder finish invest in some Bare Minerals. I havent tried it myself but a friend of mine uses it and her skin looks radiant.

On the other hand, if you really want sheer coverage try a tinted moisturizer and a bit of cover stick on the spots you worry about, but blend carefully. With the other skin issue you're having a good moisturizer could really help anyway. I really like You Rebel by BeneFit.
Reply:I use Estee Lauders double wear to hide blotchy skin, you won't need to worry about it all day, it will stay on until you wash it off!
Reply:my skin the same. Try products shop around. clean and clear are good. Use a tinted moisturiser. like clarins, the body shop and bobbi brown do good foundations that conceal so it wont look like you have loads and loads of makeup on.
Reply:There is a product that really does work and will eliminate blotchy red skin. It's a green gel like liquid that come in a small bottle with a pipette. You apply 2 - 3 drops every night and then apply your normal moisturiser. It is called Phyto + gel and made by Skinceuticals. It is quite expensive but worth every penny. It is not available over the counter as it's medical grade cosmetic. Some plastic surgeons in the UK will sell it however I buy mine over the net from:

http://www.beautyappointment.com

I have used this myself as I have red blotchy and sensitive skin which is dry. I also use Skinceutical moisturiser as it is fantastic (expensive - but I will re-iterate how good these products are).

Good luck!
Reply:I have quite blotchy skin as well. What i do, is use an exfoliating face wipe, put some moisturiser on and then use Max Factor's Colour Adapt foundation. It covers up any blotchiness but doesn't leave you looking like you have tons of foundation on like some brands do.

Vitamins for skin elasticity?

I know of creams and stuff to use to keep skin elastic, I know that creams with E and C vitimins are good, but what about oral vitamins? What vitamins will help my skin from the inside out if I take them? Thanks!
Vitamins for skin elasticity?
i believe omega 3 fatty acids are great for your skin. something like flax seed oil or fish oil. do a search on these 2 things and see what you find and if it's what you're looking for. i take them for all kinds of reasons because they seem generally essential for us women.

Blacks: light skin vs. Dark skin?

Do light skin blacks feel that the darker ones discriminate against you.
Blacks: light skin vs. Dark skin?
That issue has been dead for years...
Blacks: light skin vs. Dark skin?
actually i think its the other way around. im right in the middle of both so im happy. but i know many that are discriminated against because of darker skin.
Reply:no, in fact some light skined blacks actually want to be darker, and vice-versa. We are never happy with what we have. "Free Your Mind"
Reply:Gosh would you stop with this vs. stuff. I like my Black brothas and sistahs no matter what shade they are.
Reply:They discriminate against each other. Slavery divided their race and still in 2007, not much has changed.
Reply:I have been discriminated against because I am light skin, dark skin have been discriminated against because they are dark skin, I think the whole thing is stupid. We already have discrimination against the black community by other races, why have it within our own race?
Reply:Actually Black people love each other. Its you they hate.
Reply:That issue is pretty dead in our community.
Reply:no
Reply:i love how ther are so many diff shdes now! it goes form pale-really dark!
Reply:IDK. People come in different shades and tones. But I don't find it as a big deal.
Reply:I am right in the middle, I embrace both. I did see discrimination in grade school, from light skinned girls against the darker ones, but that was just in grade school. I haven't seen or heard of it in a while. I am sure it still exist in some way. Just like the blond vs brunette thing!

Peace!
Reply:No
Reply:i would never treat a light skinned person differently from a darked skinned person. some people are just insecure and play on other peoples' differences. i myself have not been subjected to any discrimination from another black person.
Reply:i am light skinned.but dark skinned african american women don't have anything to discriminate for. they also know that they are just as beautiful.God made us %26amp; sees us as all beautiful women!
Reply:Thank God my higshschool has no problems like this skin color crap. In my school if you're pretty your pretty thats it! I'm born in the 90's so my age group thinks very different, in my school there are all types of interaccial and they go out with light and dark. Besides what happaned to brown people(I'm brown caramel, a little darker though)?
Reply:Why does everyone want to know so much about us? But to give you a reasonable and truthful answer, no, I havent felt any discrimination. I do not classify myself as ether light skin, dark skin. I'm a simple color of brown, and I'm human.%26lt;3Monet.
Reply:I think both discriminate against eachother. I am black but I'm more red and have indian features ( alot of my ancesters were indians)so it really doesn't affect me .
Reply:Yeah I'm a light skinned black person and some darker skinned black people will be mean to me sometimes. But it all goes back to slavery days because lighter skin black people would turn on them or whatever. So its like vice vera-y.

Does anyone get burning skin on their legs? Or skin so dry it keeps rubbing off?

My skin wont stop coming off when I wash. When I dry off it starts coming off like a snow storm. This is my whole body.

This is not something that can be helped with lotion. I have other health problems related to kidneys, full body bone pain, muscle pain, spasms and twitching to go along with this now.

I also have bad burning sensations on my legs, it feels like the skin is on fire, but to touch they are frozen.

Does anyone know if this can be related to something that might have been overlooked by the dr's? (50 yr old male, sick for 2 yrs)

The dr's don't have any answer for me.

Thank you
Does anyone get burning skin on their legs? Or skin so dry it keeps rubbing off?
A few things come to mind. I am not a doctor, but I watch and read every medical thing I come across.

First, you mention kidney problems. Kidney disease and dialysis can be linked to any of the problems you mention. You may want to find a specialist if you have known kidney problems, and rule that out first.

Second, a lot of medications cause skin dryness and itching. My mom had something similar with her skin and found it to be her blood pressure medication.

Third, the only thing I can think of that would cause multiple symptoms of such variance, is something autoimmune. Research both Multiple Sclerosis and Lupus and you will see similarities to your symptoms.

Finally, it is possible the symptoms are not all from one single issue. Dry skin could be from medication, the tingling and pain could be sciatica, the bone pain could be osteoarthritis.

Before you start researching every disease suggested, sit down and sort out the progression of your symptoms. It might help rule out some things before you take a long list to your doctor.

I really don't have a clue.

Reply:You poor man, I urge you to see a dermatologist, ask your regular doctor for a referal since he is unable to treat the condition is my first advice. Other advice I would give is to consider alergins, maybe the soap you wash yourself or beding with, a pillow or something you sleep on. It is very important to have clean bedding with skin conditions. Dont give up on lotions, try aloe and cotisone cream and lots of plain waer washing is not bad. Avoid perfumes and perfumed talcum powder. Medicated talc might help, check the fit of your clothes, make sure they are not to tight, exercise and eat right, lots of fruits and vegetable and little fatty food or excessive protein, drink gelatin and lots of vitamin c and antioxidents. Make sure you have a comfortable materess your not allergic to. Get some light sunshine on the skin but not a lot and dont get sunburned. Good Luck.

What color skin tone looks the most beautiful without looking fake?

What color skin tone looks the most beautiful without looking fake? I tried a self bronzer and it was awful. I looked like an orange, litterally. So, I know bronzers don't look all natural but do tan people look as beautiful as medium skinned people? I know a natural sun tan is absolutely gorgeous, but are you ugly if you aren't mexican looking dark?
What color skin tone looks the most beautiful without looking fake?
Whaaat?

I think it's just the bronzer..

I'm 'medium skinned' I guess (my picture is darker then I actually am) but I'm still pale.. I think it has to do with the individual... just try going to a salon if you really want one but you can also use those self tanners or go to a spray-tan place OR you could buy a good bronzer (victoria secret's bronzers) that isnt all colour but also has glowing stuff in them.

What are you kidding? I have family that are 'mexican looking dark' and they all wish they were lighter (yeah unfortunately, some people are retarded like that). Be happy with your skin colour. I wish I was darker too but you need to be happy with yourself!

btw, getting a tan isn't gonna change your skin tone. If youre not olive then youre not olive, no point in pretending like you are
What color skin tone looks the most beautiful without looking fake?
I think that the media is showing more and more lighter skinned women and how beautiful light skin can be. Tans out of a bottle are by far the safest..any tan from the sun is damaging to your skin. Try this link for some of the best sunless tanners.

Why doesn't my skin react to the sun?

I can't seem to figure out why my skin doesn't react to the sun like normal peoples. I am rather fair and I never burn, even after spending several hours in the sun for days at a time. I don't tan either. I just turn like a somewhat yellowish color and maybe get a few light freckles. I feel like maybe if I understand why my skin is so odd, then I might understand if I am more or less likely to get skin cancer. Any help in this area would be greatly appreicated.
Why doesn't my skin react to the sun?
no special reason...just a different composition of the skin.

like low amount of the enzymes that aid the production of melanin and fewer malanocytes.

the odds of skin cancer for u is lower since u dont burn. skin cancer is related to sun burns as sun burns damage the skin cells and cause the mutaions that lead to cancer.

dont worry about it....i am the same way....no tans no burns.
Why doesn't my skin react to the sun?
Because you're an alien.

If someones skin goes from light to dark occasionally do this mean?

there mixed because my friends skin does this all the time and she doesnt even be in the sun light or go outside or use any products on her skin it just does this type of thing so i was just wondering if this means she might possibly be mixed with another nationalaty of some sort
If someones skin goes from light to dark occasionally do this mean?
This could be because of various reasons. Lighting will change a person's skin tone (rather the way it appears). The color of the clothes the person is wearing could bring out certain undertones. Body temperature can also contribute the skin tone changes, the increase of blood running into capillaries and such (blushing) throughout the body.

Could quite possibly be mixed ethnicity. But it couldn't change the skin tone that fast. I would be on something bringing out certain tones and highlights in the person's pigment.

BTW, I don't think this question belongs in singles and dating.
If someones skin goes from light to dark occasionally do this mean?
yes thats right this is the single %26amp; dating section
Reply:its darker b/c they r cold if that then idk
Reply:Why don't you ask your friend? She would know if she's mixed....although I don't know why it matters!
Reply:Yes, and she magically transforms in the light of day. BEWARE THE SWIRLEEEE!!!

well i'll tell you my time tested regimes. i used to do bakings soda cleansing on my face (and sometimes my whole body) but i found that since my skin is dry enough i can't do it personally. maybe you can since yours gets oily. it'll clean up your pores like no other. if not, try cetaphil. it's gentle but you'll feel your skin is baby-soft. i've been using st.ives face wash for a while now and i still love it..but all i do is just try to wash my face twice a day, then if it's dry use olay moisturizer. try other products because what works for me might not work for you

Dry cracked skin and Diabetes?

I have a question why is it such a big deal if you have dry cracked skin on the heal or anywhere else on your feet and/or legs when you have diabetes? I am only asking because I have type 2 diabetes and the skin on the heal of my foot is dry and cracked and very painful and I read somewhere that people with diabetes should have it check by a doctor.
Dry cracked skin and Diabetes?
When you have diabetes you can get life-threatening infections into your entire circulatory system through very tiny cracks in the skin, especially through the feet and legs. The diabetes can also change your reaction and/or ability to feel pain. I would make a doctors appointment as soon as possible, for your own health and safety. Good luck to you.
Dry cracked skin and Diabetes?
It is not uncommon for those with Diabetes to not heal properly. The cracked skin can get seriously infected and can lead to major problems.
Reply:Because people with diabetes don't heal appropriatly and what may just be dry and cracked can turn into a major problem, such as gangrene. It is very important to get a good cream for your feet and wear cotton socks. Tell you doctor about this and ask his/her advice.
Reply:Yep, your body is less able to heal when you have diabetes. Any break in the skin should be checked by a doctor. As well as numbness in the feet and any vision changes.
Reply:Its because when your sugar levels are high, it impairs blood circulation. If you develop an infection in the legs or feet, antibiotics do not reach the site of infection (in this case the feet/legs) as well as those closer to the heart. Make sure your sugar levels are within range and this will help healing.

Please help a teenager with a skin problem?

i had oily skin and i am 15 year old guy.Only my nose and forehead is oily.I really hate it alot, i always see my nose and forehead is shiny.Even my firends tell me.I tried to wash my face 2 times and sometime 3 times, but i heard that 3 times will dry my skin. The rest of my skin was ok, it's not oily and neither dry.My nose always grow acne. This month i actually grow about 4-5 acnes already. Can anyone help me please? how to make my skin back to normal? Should i see a doctor?
Please help a teenager with a skin problem?
Proactive is very popular right now you can aways try that. Washing your face repeatedly will not help. It will encourage your skin's oil glands to over produce oil and cause more acne and oiliness. Use a simple product like Neutrogena twice a day, once when you wake up and once when you go to bed. refrain from touching your face too much because the oil from your hands and transfer onto your face. Drink lots of water, have veggies, and fruits. Also doing exercise regularly will help and regulating you're fried or oily foods will help allot. I know you've heard it before but it's true, as a teen you are bound to go through changes and acne is every common. If you are still having problems talk to a dermatologist (skin doctor) they can help you if you need anything else.
Please help a teenager with a skin problem?
You can either see a dermatologist, or begin trying different facewashes. The worst mistake you can do is to use the facewash on the rest of your face; just use it on your nose and forehead. Look for a facewash with salicylic acid in it, most have it. Wash your face once in the morning, and one at night. It should clear up if you do it every day. A doctor might give you some pills to take also, but I doubt it because it's for serious acne.
Reply:Try to stop eating greasy foods and use facial cleanser+toner for oily to combination skin type.
Reply:Don't just use water. Oily skin needs facial wash. There are plenty of anti-acne products designed for facial washing. It controls oil production as well as clearing your skin off dirt and bacteria. Also, try using an oil-free mosturizer, preferably with SPF of 15+ if you go out in the sun a lot.

then wash it cool water. don't use cotton buds to clean it.

do you also have dandruff?

if so then you also have to get rid, with dandruff shampoo.

Looking for a great solution to dry patchy skin.?

My 3 year old has the worst dry skin ever. I put baby oil, lotion, dry skin cream... I have tried so many different kinds of lotion. Doctor said that it was eczema (skin hardening, scaling and cracking) when she was younger and wanted me to put hydrocortisone 1% cream on it twice per day but I have heard that it can thin her skin and give her more chances of getting skin cancer at a later age. She cries and makes herself bleed from scratching so much. Help! Does anyone know what could help my little girl?
Looking for a great solution to dry patchy skin.?
I can totally relate to this, I have the same problem myself. First, I would use the cortisone cream. I have never heard that it was bad. The creams that thin the skin are usually only available with a prescription. I've used Cortisone for as long as I can remember and I am 34, I've never had a issue. Next get a tub of Eucerin and after you give her a bath put a thick layer on each spot then cover it with gauze until it soaks into the skin. Other things that you can try are Oatmeal Baths this will help the itching. Look at some of the Aveeno products they are great and help with the itching. If you can not get it under control on your own then I would go see a dermatologist. They have photo therapy treatment that will get rid of it. do some research of your own about PUVA and other Photo therapy treatments. Good luck
Looking for a great solution to dry patchy skin.?
I don't know about eczema, but Vaseline works wonders on any dry skin my daughter gets. Her skin, especially on her cheeks, gets dry, red, and chapped during the cold weather, ever since she was very little. She's now 2 yrs. I rub some on at night, and you can see an improvement by morning. Maybe it would be something for you to try, since you've tried so many other things. And it certainly won't do any harm. Also, my mom told me when I used hydrocortisone cream on my daughter once, to use .5% instead of 1%, and only use a touch.
Reply:hi

my granddaughter had this problem, too.

we used aveeno products on her skin morning and night, and we also used the aveeno bath product. it gave her some relief.

if you do a search, you might find Home Remedies for Eczema on line? it's worth a try?

i hope you get some good answers here. take care.
Reply:the hydrocortizone is your best bet. the amount in the lotion isn't going to hurt her. someone is always going to find something bad in everything. don't be an alarmist. that little bit only twice a day won't cause anything. it isn't like she'll be living on it. you'll only need to use it for a few days. isn't easing her pain now more important?
Reply:I have this problem myself and have battled it off and on my whole life. Continue to use the cortizone twice a day...and I'd stay with the 1% for her age. I also use Eucerin cream at night....I don't use it during the day because of it's greasy look and feel...but it works great. During the day try the Aveeno line of products for Ecsema....this will help tremendously with the itching! If you follow this routine you should start to see results in about a week. Another thing to remember is that water dries the skin....so until this gets under control don't let her sit in the bath for a long period of time...and if she hasn't been outside and is not really dirty, I'd sponge bathe her on some days for a couple weeks until it starts to get better! Once you get it a little more under control, you can continue with the Eucerin at night and the Aveeno during the day as needed for itching!

Survey- Tan skin versus Fair skin?

Gentlemen pls vote! Do you prefer ladies with healthy glowing tan or smooth dewy fair skin? If possible pls indicate your race and nationality...
Survey- Tan skin versus Fair skin?
Make your own choice, ladies, but make sure it is you deciding and not societal pressure. The history of tanning is fascinating. So far who tans has been determined by economic status. When the majority of the population was rural, a tan was the mark of laborer, lower economic. And paler skin color was prized. Later when the majority of people worked in factories or offices, only the rich could vacation and get a tan. Then tans were thought beautiful. The truth: Sun exposure and alcohol age you more than any other factors. If you want to look 60 when you are 45, get a tan. With our thinning ozone layer, sun exposure also causes skin cancer. Even the sheep get skin cancer in New Zealand. And for appearance, a tan makes your face one color; no more light and shadow to define features. Not beautiful.

All over skin itching with no rash?

It started a couple of weeks ago, on the palms of my hands. Then it went to my head, and then down below, around my lady bits. Now when I get it, it can be anywhere.

I hadn't been out in about 3 days so I can't of caught it off anybody.

Anyway, the itching was driving me mad, after 2 days and I took some allergy tablets .I bought over the counter and they went. If I stop taking them the itching starts again.

Now, I have no rash whatsoever. Or at least not at first.

About 2 weeks after I looked at my hands and 2 of my fingers were covered in little lumps, tiny, and the same colour as my skin, not red or anything. After a few more days again they disappeared and now the skin is just a bit rough.

I have been under a lot of stress lately and I dyed my hair a day or 2 before this started. Although I didnt touch the dye with my hands as someone else did it for me.

any ideas???
All over skin itching with no rash?
it could still be the dye. as i'm sure you washed your hair in the shower and you touched it with bare hands. my mother is a cosmotologist, and she'll along with any cosmo could tell you that your dye can bleed for a few washes after dying it that is how you would get it on your hands, and if you touched your "lady bits" with your hands afterwards you could have transfered it that way. though i'm not a doctor, so i'm just giving my opinion. but i would talk to a doctor about it if you're truly worried and it's been close to a week and you still can't stop taking the alergy pills.
All over skin itching with no rash?
could it be menopause?
Reply:It could be an allergic reaction since it just started after you dyed your hair. I had some bumps like that a few weeks ago. They were really itchy and mainly on my hands and neck. The doctor said it was Rosatia or something like that. Its a type of heat rash. Benadryl made them stop itching, but there is another medication that is specifically for that. I don't remember what it is called though. It took them like two weeks to go away without the medicine.
Reply:did you eat anything different? It sounds like an allergy. If it continues I would see a Dr soon. Did you buy a different soap to wash clothes in or body soap..... Try this take a bath in luke warm water with about a cup and a half of heinz vinegar (the dark brown one) it helps with any type of skin disorder. Even wash your hair and rinse it with Heinz vinegar. I always use vinegar on my hair and in my bath to keep my skin healthy and super clean. Good luck
Reply:hi , i had same problem and my doctor told me that stress can cause chemicals to react in the body which can cause itching
Reply:it could poison ivy, some types r the make the bums the same color as ur skin and don't show up untill like a week after u came in contact with it. I have this kind in my backyard and it sucks but just use some poison ivy care stuff from a localdrugstore and it will go away if it is poison ivy or oak.
Reply:You could have contact dermatitis. Did you start using a new detergent, soap, shampoo, or anything else? I would try something like Benedryl cream and if it persists after clearing up with Benedryl tablets and.or cream, I would go to the doctor. It could be something simple that is easily fixed with a prescription cream or tablet. You could also try the web site www.JustAnswer.com/health. You can talk to a dermatologist or nurse online and see if they have any suggestions. Good luck.
Reply:It can be a few different things actually. I believe your skin had an allergic reaction to the hair dye. This happend to me. Try hydrocordasome cream rub it in your scalp at night after you washed you hair keep your hair wet and rub it on your neck it will go away in a few days.

learned from experience
Reply:either an allergy or exema
Reply:I would go an see your G.P .Calamine lotion is brilliant for severe itching,it's what they recommend for chicken pox.
Reply:u can never be too sure.

If in the next 2 weeks the problems persist u should see a doctor.

It might be just something to do with the dye or the heat.

I'm not sure of that but I think are similar symptoms for a sexual transmited disease....but NOT sure.

So don't get scared of what I say,it might just be an allergic reaction

How to have fair skin!?

i need to have fair skin because my agency told me that! because others cant accept me because of my dark skin...( not really dark but tan) put lotion everyday!!!! i put whitening lotion, whitening soap when I go to take a bath... I see no difference, i started using them since i was 10 and now i am 11! i dont swim in the swimming pool. and i dont go outside my house when its too sunny! ( exept 4 shooldays) im in middle school now and my friends are treating me, Y are u dark if ur from europe! all of my family are white and im the only one with dark skin!!!!! pls help me solve this!!!!
How to have fair skin!?
ask micheal jackson
How to have fair skin!?
If people cant accept you for who you are then dont do it

because in the long run, you are gonna do damage to your skin. Whatever you do, Im sure there are better things out there for you.

I remember when I got picked on because I was pretty skinny

I weighed about 100 back then and I thought "Hmm....I should try modeling."

My friend gave me this card to a modeling agency I went and they told me to lose about 4 more pounds. I said screw them.

Now I weigh about 107 and Im happy with how I look.

Dont let people bring you down. You are your own person and if you feel comfortable with it, then everyone else should.
Reply:Sweetheart if you have naturally dark skin there is not anything you can do about it. A doctor might be able to help with a medical treatment no soap or lotion will make your skin lighter than it naturally is.
Reply:Thats a good idea micheal jackson..
Reply:I suggest finding another agency that will accept your dark skin. Bleaching your skin is silly. Be proud of who you are.
Reply:Go and get you some hydroquinone. Its sold at walmart. Some kinna lightning creams. I use them too. Theres some for nightime and daytime. They are guaranteed to work. the cream is called Porcleana in rhe beauty section. Rite aid has a wider selection of these products.
Reply:The amount of melanin determines what skin color you are. And people who have dark skin have more melanin than lighter tone people. So, you're going to stay dark. Don't try to change yourself, If people can't acccept you. Screw them, don't be people pleaser.
Reply:sorry to tell you but you can't change your skin color if you are naturally tan then theres nothing you can do.
Reply:What kind of agency is this, modeling? I've never heard of anything that ridiculous. Be proud of who you are, and your complexion. That agency isn't good enough for you either. You're only 11 years old and its sad that you're worrying about all this at your age. You're still a kid, you should be out in the sun and not having to worry about getting darker.

I have brown skin and I used to stay out of the sun when I was growing up for fear of getting darker. As I got older I began to love my skin complexion, and now the sun doesn't bother me much.
Reply:Learn to love yourself! People spend hours of their lives under the sun and in tanning beds, risking cancer and wrinkles just to get what you were born with. Kids your age will tease about anything. Trust me; if you were pale, they'd tease you about being too white.
Reply:I cant believe you have a tan complexion having a fair skin background but anyways lets go to the point.

First you will never have fair sin because you were born with an Olive/Tan complexion but if this really does not satisfy your question then seriously ask Michael Jackson but keep in mind to do what he did to bleach himself you might need parental permission and lots of cash.

I also have a tan complexion that I love because it makes me look very exotic and I am very happy with it. If your agency is not happy with the way you look they should use someone else to do what they have to do and use you for whatever you might be suitable for.

I used to have an uneven complexion until I purchase CAUDALIE it is a french company dedicated to natural products based of green grapes. I use: Pulpe Vitaminee in the morning and night.

Also they have this other lotion: Vinopulp they are both great. It clarifies and evens out your skin and leaves it soft as silk.

Sephora usually carries Caudaie products, they are a ittle pricey but really worth it.

Good luck!
Reply:Hi, I don't think you should change for anyone unless you really want to but thats my opinion i am in high school but I am going to sign up at a talent agency and you should go to an agency that accepts all skin types.
Reply:I don't know what kind of agency you have, but they shouldn't force you to have fair skin. That is like them turning down black people and every other minority because of their shade of skin? You deserve an agency that respects the beauty you were born with and shouldn't make you change that!
Reply:Hello.Im native american..and im naturally light complected but since ive joined cross country, my skin became slightly darker.i went to this web site and it helped me drastically.my skin went back to its normal color and had this healthy glow to it.so...i thought id help u.here is the site
Reply:Use this homemade face pack for one week you will find a difference. Make a face pack consisting of cucumber juice, lemon juice and some rose water. To remove tan make a paste using Haldi (Turmeric) with a little raw (unboiled) milk and lemon juice. Apply it on the skin; it will help in removing a tan. When does skin darken?

Does your skin darken only when you stay out in the sun for a long time, or even if you are exposed for like only five (5) minutes? Is it actually possible for your skin to darken if you are exposed to the sun everyday but only once each day for only 10 minutes?
When does skin darken?
The amount of darkening of the skin depends not only on the amount of time you're in the sun, but also the intensity of the UV rays. For instance, if you're outside for an hour at noon, you're going to be darker than if you were outside for an hour when the sun just came up. Exposure to UV rays causes the skin to produce melanin, a pigment which absorbs the UV rays. It's the increased melanin production which causes the color change of a tan. As far as how long it takes for someone's skin to noticeably tan, it varies from person to person, based on how much pigment their skin naturally has. For very fair people, who do not have much melanin in their skin already, it is possible to get a sunburn in 10 or 15 minutes. They aren't able to produce enough melanin to get a tan before their skin burns. For darker people, they have more melanin at their disposal, so they will just tan darker before they burn. I can't really help you much on "how long will it take for me to tan", it just varies.

But interesting note- albino individuals can not tan at all. They will only burn. They lack melanin completely, and therefore cannot manufacture the coloring for a tan.

2nd edit: So really, tans are your body's response to the harm that's being done by the sun's UV rays. If you cut yourself, a scab forms. If you go out in the sun or go to tanning salons, a tan/sunburn forms. Tanning should be viewed as something which is negative and to be avoided, because it's a defensive response from your body in reaction to harm that's being done at a cellular level. UV rays which hit your cells degrade and mutate the DNA within the cells. That's how you get skin cancer.
When does skin darken?
yes, you will get a nice slow long lasting tan. failing that. use a sunbed
Reply:If you are generally fair, its hard for you to get tanned. Prolonged exposure to the sun might cause skin cancer. UV rays are dangerous.

Darker skinned people have more melanin and thus, get tanned easier and faster, even if its just 2 minutes under the sun while crossing the road.
Reply:Yes, I know that just from driving, having the one arm hang outside the window, the other arm inside the car, the left arm is always more tan. Ask any trucker, although, I am not a trucker, OK? :-)

Will i have saggy skin?

im 27 im 5'7 and 227 pounds i work out 4 days a week and am on a diet. i hve lost about 10 pounds in the last month and i heard if you lose it slowly it stays off and your skin will go back to normal. is this true or will i have saggy skin, or is there anything i can do like a certain exercise to tighting as i go. i dont have a really huge belly, it might seem but i really dont. so will the skin go back or will it sag?
Will i have saggy skin?
no, exercising(cardio and lifting)will not make you have saggy skin, if you loose weight rapidly then you will have loose skin
Will i have saggy skin?
It really depends on your skin type, some people have more elastic skin, so they do not suffer so much as others from the saggy skin problem. Usually loosing the weight slower rather than quickly can result in less saggines becouse it gives your skin time to catch up with the change of your shape. if you really do need to loose the weight I would not worry too much though.
Reply:Nivea skin firming lotion works well, I used it throughout my pregnancy. I had got about 2 light purple stretch marks during my last two weeks of carrying my son. But they are gone now.

Moisturize your skin, it helps with the elasticity.
Reply:Think of the skin on women who have had children. The only thing you can do is attempt to minimize the damage with creams, lotions, and the building of muscle underneath your skin.

30 weeks pregnancy... loose skin over night... how did this happen?

This is the weirdest thing... I am 30 weeks pregnant and when I woke up this morning there was loose skin on the bottom of my stomach. It has been tight and firm up until this morning...

How on earth did this happen? Did the baby shrink? She was already head-down, and it feels like she still is. Could she have just moved up somehow? I just don't see how in 8 hours this much loose skin could appear.

She is kicking like normal, seems to be fine.. should I be worried, or just let my doctor know tomorrow? I feel silly to call the emergency line at the doctors office over loose skin.

Ideas on what could cause this? I've heard of the baby dropping, but never moving up!
30 weeks pregnancy... loose skin over night... how did this happen?
it happens to me all the time .. baby just moved from the spot they were in thats all

i know what you mean!! i have that too..i think (or hope) its due to the babies change in position..ew i just hope it tightens up after birth..lol

Healthy Clean Skin?

Ok, so I eat vegetables, fruits, drink plenty of water and I wash my face. I eat healthy and I exercise everyday. The only thing I don't do is eat fish because I don't like fish

Any idea as to what else I should do to keep a healthy clean skin. I still have a bit more to go until I get the skin that I want so I anything else I should know that I should eat and do?
Healthy Clean Skin?
Try taking Vitamin A %26amp; D, it can help improve your skin. Other than that, I don't think there's much else I can suggest to you. It sounds like you're on the right track, so just have patience and keep up with what you're doing, and you'll eventually get the skin you want!
Healthy Clean Skin?
Gosh not really seems like your on the right track.

Keep up the good work
Reply:You should use proactive . .it really works
Reply:Use a good moisturizer it will also act as a skin barrier. Check the labels for those with added Vitamin A, C and E, which help block the penetration of pollutants.

Stress less, too much stress can affect your overall health as well as your complexion.

Get enough sleep.

To avoid morning eye or facial puffiness, sleep on your back so fluid doesn't collect there. And, you can keep the oil from your hair away from your face by wearing a head covering or a soft headband when you go to bed.

Most important, always use sunblock.
Reply:This easy, effective method uses one kitchen-cupboard herbal ingredient, and calls upon the power of a warm compress to open pores and allow the healing benefits of the herb to work on blemished skin. The compress method is more comforting and quicker to use than a facial steam, but is every bit as effective.

Click on the link below, and get the recipe. Its all natural and totally works.

Good luck with your skin.

How elastic should your skin be?

The skin on my face is pretty elastic, and can be streched a little more than normal. this has caused the skin under my eyes to droop, causing very obvious black circles under them. when i stretch the excess skin under my eyes to the side, the darkness dispears. Anyone know if i am maybe lacking vitamins or something. anyway to help reduce this?

Does the homo-erotic obsession with the "beautiful white skin" of a man in Islamic scripture imply racism?

“…Sahl was a man with beautiful white skin. Amir said to him, 'I have never seen anything like what I have seen today, not even the skin of a virgin.” http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/fundamentals...

Try to find ANY reference to the "beautiful black skin" of a man in Islamic scripture. Its very easy to do this research because there are countless search engines that pour over every letter of Islamic scripture (Quran - Sunnah).

I challenge Muslims to paste any homo-erotic or heterosexual expression adortation for "black skin".

This man Sahl's skin was soooo beautiful, that not even the skin of a virgin could compare. Do you think that unnatural islamic separation of the sexes contributes to this type of homo-erotic/ bi-sexual comparison?

Its a fact, not for debate, that unnatural islamic separation of the sexes increases the proportion of homosexual and pedophilic acts.

PS - I am NOT homo-phobic at all.

there is a good chance that someone in your family is white. it is a shame that you will probably never know for 100% sure though, but at least you were adopted by a very nice family and have a good life, right? sure, it sucks not knowing, but things could have certainly turned out much worse for you. focuse on the good things in your life rather than the negatives and think about the family that you have now, not the one that you dont know.
Are Most Light skin African American Male's Mix?
Nope
Reply:no black people come in all colors. there are light skinned black people in africa, and they are not mixed, same here in america. just being light skinned does not make you mixed, although lots of black people in america have other races in them. there are balck people who are not light skinned who are mixed with other races. it all shows up differently in different people. you could be mixed, but the only way to know for sure is to find out who you're natural parents are.

My skin feels like I have a sunburn.?

For the past five to seven days, my skin has felt like it is sunburned. It is Winter and I am rarely outside, so I know it's not really a sunburn. I also can feel cold at the same time while my legs, upper arms, face, and chest feel burning hot. It's hard to describe.

I've had a slightly sore throat off and on the past few days but nothing serious. I considered it was just a fever, as a sunburn is a fever, but I'm just uncertain..

If you were to place your hand on my skin it would feel hot like a sunburn.

Please help. :)

sounds either like a wind burn (i live in New Mexico and the wind is always blowin) or your suffering from good ol dry winter skin. Put lotion on after the shower, try Eucerin Calming Creme...one use and itll be gone, no joke.

How do I get my skin whiter, please don't tell me to stay inside or some smarta55 comment, I mean is the stuff you use to get your skin whiter expensive, is it just in powder or can you get it like, in a thing like foundation? and where would I get it, I live in Melbourne, so somewhere in my reach, please.
Whiter skin?
Get powder that is lighter than your skin.

I accidentally bought fair everyday minerals powder

and omg it made me sooo pale!!
Whiter skin?
Yeah if you just get powder a few shades lighter than your skin it should do the trick. Covergirl works really well.
Reply:Sorry for being smart but i am a very pale person and i dont use make up at all. I stay in mostly cause i dont like sports all that much, anyway i think it is just a nartural thing. I dont think you can make yourself whiter unless you use power of some sort, sorry!
Reply:my aunt used the lightest shade in a cover girl compact that she could find to get her daughters face really white for her halloween costume it looked awsome
Reply:clinique has a whitening system.

short of that, lots of sunscreen and lighter foundation.

Loose Skin?

Over the course of about a year and a half or so, I have lost around 75 lbs. I went from 265 to 190, and now I have a bit of loose skin around my midsection.

I'm 18 y/o male and am 6'3, and workout 6-8 times a week (2-3 days lifting, 4-5 days competitive swimming). I keep my food intake up, so im not losing any more.

It isn't a ton of loose skin, and there is still a small amount of fat there, but I was wondering how I can work to tighten it up, because swim suit season is fast-approaching.

(I already do ab work with my swimming)

Thanks in advance.
Loose Skin?
CONGRATULATIONS! GOOD FOR YOU~ Losing all that weight deserves much praise! Continue to work-out regularly. You are a young man your skin will eventually change with time, however, you may want to confide in a 'trainer' at the local gym or possibly a coach at nearby college. Try visiting this site: www.WebMd.com and do a search in the areas of weight loss/gain...often times this site will be a terrific avenue for you. If after awhile your skin has noy re-claimed elasticity, you may want to seek out medical advice or intervention. GOOD LUCK! Take care~

A small tiny under-the-skin bump in my right armpit?

I recently noticed that for a while I've had this tiny smaller than a pea sized bump under my skin in the right armpit only. This bump can't be noticed...you have to pinch that little area of the skin to feel it and trap it like a tiny ball. There's no discoloration its just the same as my skin color. It's only under the skin... you can't see it with the naked eye. I plan on seeing the doctor for this.

My question is is this just a cyst or swollen lymph nodes? I don't think its lymphoma or anything is it?

probably a swollen lymph node - go to your doctor
Reply:possible irritation from deodorant or other powder

check with your doctor

this can happen when switching deodorants
Reply:i know that you are looking for an answer but no one here is able to give you a qualified answer on this. i too had the same thing starting on my right arm pit. just make an appointment and get it checked out as early as possible, don't put it off. i waited until i saw a change in my breast. and my cancer had spread into stage 3, I'm not saying that you have cancer but don't put anything off until you see other changes. hopefully its just a cyst and everything will be alright. Smoother skin with sugar?

Does rubbing sugar on the skin smoothen it? Do you rub the skin until the sugar melts? Or do you keep on rubbing it even when it melts?

Thanks :)
Smoother skin with sugar?
You mix the sugar with a light oil like baby oil and rub gently in small circles until you've rubbed your entire face or whatever part you're rubbing. Then you jump in the shower and wash it off.
Smoother skin with sugar?
I mix sugar with face wash and use it to remove dead skin cells etc.
Reply:Well when it melts , its past the point of use. The grains in the sugar help scrub off dead skin by lightly scratching it. The same effect is achieved with body scrubs , that have sand or brown shgar as well. I have seen MANY home beauty tips with using sugar to scrub the face.... But it is like a do it yourself at home kinda thing, but I would just scrub until It starts to melt... when it gets soft it isnt scratching anmore... then its purpouse is done!

Extra skin after having baby?

I had my daughter 3 years ago...Im pretty much back to my pre pregnancy weight.

I had gained 60 pounds while being pregnant %26lt;yikes%26gt; and I was short and small before hand, so my stomache didnt handle it so well. Now it is covered in stretch marks and what I believe is extra skin. The stretch marks dont bother me so much now that they're white...but the extra skin really hurts my self confidence. It makes my stomache look bigger than it is, its wrinkly almost and it makes the stratch marks look 10 times worse.

Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this? Im really not looking for surgery as A) I cant afford it an B) my boyfriend doesnt think I need it. So if there are ANY other solutions, I would be so extremely grateful!

I have new skin on my nose && it's really pink!?

My skin was really dry so I peeled off the dead skin %26amp;%26amp; now my skin on the tip of my nose is really really pink and some of it is flesh and it's red!!!

When I put lotion on it, it gets a little better but after a while it gets really dark pink again.

When I go to bed %26amp;%26amp; the next morning its completely RED!

I have a friend coming over THIS FRIDAY *2.22.08* and I want it to be gone by then.

It is now Wednesday so we don't have much time.

I am 13 so I can't really spend any money.

My mom will just tell me to leave it alone :[

Some at-home remedies would work great!

Thank you.
I have new skin on my nose %26amp;%26amp; it's really pink!?
try an ice cube it will get reder for a hour ofr so but should look better later and just leave it alone

well your moms right the best way for it to get better faster is to leave it alone!!!!!!!!!!! Know you know not to do that tho!!!

But you can try a little vitamin e oil after it heals again to keep it from scarring

Reply:Mineral powder is great foundation. I got mine from www.marykay.com/vhall07111. It came with a cute bag and a brush. It is flawless.
Reply:Christian Dior, I love it best.
Reply:I have pale, pale skin too and it can be a pain finding foundation. I always can find a foundation shade at Make Up For Ever, MAC and Precriptives. They seem to have the best range.
Reply:Do you have a Macy Store near you??? Try the Mac department. They are the best, I love it. I've used this line of make-up for 4 years and let me tell you it's great. I usually buy the fix powder which is both powder and concealer together. Also I've used their bronze powder which is the best. Why don't you log in and try to find a store location and maybe you can visit them. They are great they will do a demonstration on you of which is best for you and also give you their best opinion. You won't regret it believe me, try them!!
Reply:YES!! LA Minerals has like 4 "fairest" shades in 2 foundation formulas, the Hollywood and NoHOGlo mineral foundations. Plus you can order "untinted" and custom mix your stuff to lighten it if you need. Thats the neat thing about loose mineral powder foundations.

I couldn't use bare minerals cuz of the bismuth in it, made me itch like crazy.

LA Minerals has samples for like $1 and they ship em free. Stop wastin your money on full sized WRONG colors and try it, you'll be soooo glad you did. I'm totally hooked. http://www.laminerals.com

What skin tone would you say someone had that wore this make-up?

http://i27.tinypic.com/vsewdu.gif

I am asking because when asking for make-up tips on make-up websites they often ask if your skin is Fair, Beige, Golden, Bronze, or Deep and I don't know what to call mine. I know it's deffinitely not Fair or Deep. The link above is the color I wear in my make-up and it is pretty much my exact skin tone because I had it matched at a make-up counter.

Thanks!
What skin tone would you say someone had that wore this make-up?
definitely golden or dark beige, like a warm beige...honey could also be used to describe that tone
What skin tone would you say someone had that wore this make-up?
Do you have more of a golden or pink undertone to your skin?
Reply:I'd say that's beige. It's a little too light to be golden, but if you used that foundation and bronzer, that'd be golden.
Reply:That would be beige or medium.
Reply:Medium-beige with a yellow undertone. It's a warm color.
Reply:I have the same color in a L'Oreal foundation, and its medium beige.

My skin feels like I have a sunburn.?
sounds either like a wind burn (i live in New Mexico and the wind is always blowin) or your suffering from good ol dry winter skin. Put lotion on after the shower, try Eucerin Calming Creme...one use and itll be gone, no joke.

Reply:Do you also have a fever? Years ago I turned bright red all over and slightly swallon. I don't remember the exact name of the illness, just that it was in the measle family of viruses. If you think you might have this, definitely make a doctor's appointment to get diagnosed. Oh, and I was vaccinated for measles, but apparently the vaccine didn't cover all the illnesses in this "family" of viruses.

Lump on my skin, please, please, please help =(?

I have a very small hard lump under the skin on my arm, and its been there for about 3-4 monthes.

It causes no pain, no redness, and it blends in with the rest of my skin. Could it be a large mole? Or skin cancer?

Its just very irritating because Im scared it may be something bad, my mum says Im a hypochondriac, and its nothing, but I have an appointment with the doctor this week.

I would just like to have an idea of what it could be so I wont be nervous when the doctor tells me.

Im very worried about this guys, so please no mocking me, all comments are greatly appreciated.
Lump on my skin, please, please, please help =(?
If it blends with the rest of your skin, would you say it's underneath the skin??? If so, then it sounds like a common cyst. Cysts are just fluid-filled capsules which are harmless, but can be removed surgically if they are bothersome. Getting it checked out by an MD is always a good idea when in doubt.
Lump on my skin, please, please, please help =(?
A doctor shouldn't mock you as they are paid for their service.

It might be an ingrown hair or a minor skin bump that is just like a pimple.

It is always a good thing to have it checked.
Reply:i dont know what it could be if its on your arm. i would some aloe plant on it at night for about a week. if nothing happens.then im afraid its something worse. but most likely it is just a mole. if there is no pain, redness, or irritation.

Perfect skin?

How do i get really good skin.. With no pimples and soft skini on my body.. I live in Aus so any products available here would be great if you could recomend.. I also have sensitive skin. Also can certain foods help
Perfect skin?
CLINIQUE products are the best, trust me they work in any type of skin. I have been using it for a few months and my face always looks clear, and clean. They are a litle pricey but its all worth it, try the clinique 3 steps it works best you can see results within a month. and clarins is a good brand new, but i still prefer clinique.
Perfect skin?
Drink lots of water! And when you wake up in the morning, wash your face with COLD water. Then add on a moisturiser. I'm not sure what products they sell in Australia but if they have the brand 'botanics' there, then try some of that stuff because it's really good!! :) They sell them in most boots stores(i dont know if there's a boots in australia), hope you can find some!
Reply:Three things: tone, cleanse and moisturise. The best products I have found are Clinique. They're expensive but OMG are they worth it! I used them every day and my skin just glows. Before I used them, my skin was really uneven- dry in some places and oily in others. I also use a body shop face-mask once a week and use my little in-home facial spa (they cost about $10!) Use a good sunblock aswell.

Diet really does make a difference. If you eat a lot of salt, sugar and excess fat, then your body is full of toxins and you need to flush that out. Drink 3 liters of water a day and your skin will be instantly clearer. Eat plenty of fruit and green veg and you're all set.

Hope this helps!

My skin problem?

Recently I've been having some problems with the skin on my face. It seems to be very red, blotchy and uneven texture. In the past people have commented on how nice my skin is. It's not normally this bad, I keep it clean using face scrub, and wipes. Recently I changed back to Clinique but it doesn't seem to be making any difference. Normally I can wear little or no make up, but I've had to resort to concealer, foundation and powder just to get some sort of even appearance. I also have rather dark circles under my eyes that I can't shift, even with cream. I drink 2 litres of water per day and have a good diet. If would be great to hear if anyone has experienced this and if you have any advice. I'm not keen on wearing lots of make up as I'm worried about it's aging effects. Thanks.
My skin problem?
It sounds like your skin is sensitive to something, I would definitely stop the exfolliating and just use a mild cleanser (Cetaphil) and moisturizer. No acne treatments or anything abrasive. Try and calm your skin down. You can definitely try the Redness Relief Cream from Clinique, it is suppose to be amazing. I am going to pick some up today as I have been dying to try it. Maybe your Clinique counter will let you exchange your other products.

Avoid cold wind or anything that will make your skin red (like red wine or spicy foods). See if it calms down after 4 weeks. If not, you may have the beginnings of rosacea and will need a heavier foundaiton and to see a dermatologist. Makeup is a cosmetic product, it does not cause aging as long as you remove it every night.

I would avoid wipes as they have too many ingredients and can trigger reactions. Wipes cause no end of problems for my skin.
My skin problem?
well if it keeps comtinuing see a dermatoligist and they will prob give you a cream or something for it. also let your skin rest for a while. go a day with out washing
Reply:I'd see a dermatologist about it if I were you.
Reply:well one makeup is not a bad thing and even though you may think it gonna make you look old well if you use the good stuff it can make you look younger for a lot longer!

now to your prob.

have you chnaged anything like a new soap or shampoo anything??

cus you could be having a reaction.

and i would give it a week if it does not go away go see a docter.
Reply:I've had a simular problem to this. My skin has really cleared up after using Garnier's Pure range. [The Pure Scrub, Pure Toner and Pure Moisturiser]. They do 2 pure moisturisers, one is for oily skin and one for normal. I use the one for oily because it mattifies and is a great base for makeup!
Reply:no, thank you for not posting detailed pictures like a young girl earlier.....ewwww.....but we all get bad hair days, we all get bad skin days. You didnt say how old you are?
Reply:it may be a minor allergic reaction to something.

I would recommend sudo cream... this will take down the redness.

And take your make up off when you aren't out the house to let your skin breathe.

I hope this helps. I suffer from eczema so my face gets bad sometimes.
Reply:sudecrem is the answer its not expensive and it works soooo well, youve probably heard about it used for nappy rash lol but it can be used for more as it says on the front,as like acne and rashes etc, hope you know what it is?if u live in the UK you can probably get it from boots or some chemist just ask at the counter, but if you live in america or somewere sorryi dont live there so i dont know,i hope this helps cjayy
Reply:you should see your GP, it sounds to me like eczema and using facescrub will just exacerbate the problem try washing you face with just water for a few days and using a scent free moisturiser such as vaseline intensive care (preferabley not E45 becasue thats got lanolin in it which is effectively sheep grease)

if your problem still persists tehn go and see your GP and he/she will probably give you some form of mild eczema cream like hydrocortozine

try and stay away from the make up as much as possible as well
Reply:Hi I have had this problem, and its either hormonal, or because of the harsh winter weather. As I have got into my 20's my skin has changed and my skintone is really dry and uneven texture and I too would love not to wear make up as that just doubles up on the problem but its better that having bad skin.

I have switch over to Nivea Facial Wipes in the gentle cleansing range for dry sensitive skin, and I also use the moisturiser in the same range, and I find that this makes a big difference. I tried clnique in the past and it made my skin worse so I think its a waste of money, maybe the facial scrub and the wipes are drying out your face and your skin is feeling dry because its burnt,im allergic to most washes and wipes etc like clean and clear, so maybe only use it once a week as its not healthy to scrub the face everyday as it can lead to problems. But nivea doesnt dry the skin out and there is even a facial wash to that is in the dry sensitive range and it doesnt dry out the skin and it will protect it. All I can suggest is to use either the nivea sensitive range or the one for dry sensitive skin but not the original nivea or the normal combination nivea as this could be too harsh.
Reply:Sounds like you may be having a reaction to the product. There are some great products out there for sensitive skin. If it is eczema, I have been using Arbonne products for that. We saw the symptoms disappear in 24 hours. Arbonne also has some products for "sensitive" skin. Most people that can't tolerate other products, do very well with this product. If you want more information about this product, let me know.
