Why doesn't my skin react to the sun?

I can't seem to figure out why my skin doesn't react to the sun like normal peoples. I am rather fair and I never burn, even after spending several hours in the sun for days at a time. I don't tan either. I just turn like a somewhat yellowish color and maybe get a few light freckles. I feel like maybe if I understand why my skin is so odd, then I might understand if I am more or less likely to get skin cancer. Any help in this area would be greatly appreicated.
Why doesn't my skin react to the sun?
no special reason...just a different composition of the skin.

like low amount of the enzymes that aid the production of melanin and fewer malanocytes.

the odds of skin cancer for u is lower since u dont burn. skin cancer is related to sun burns as sun burns damage the skin cells and cause the mutaions that lead to cancer.

dont worry about it....i am the same way....no tans no burns.
Why doesn't my skin react to the sun?
Because you're an alien.
