My skin feels like I have a sunburn.?

For the past five to seven days, my skin has felt like it is sunburned. It is Winter and I am rarely outside, so I know it's not really a sunburn. I also can feel cold at the same time while my legs, upper arms, face, and chest feel burning hot. It's hard to describe.


I've had a slightly sore throat off and on the past few days but nothing serious. I considered it was just a fever, as a sunburn is a fever, but I'm just uncertain..


If you were to place your hand on my skin it would feel hot like a sunburn.

sounds either like a wind burn (i live in New Mexico and the wind is always blowin) or your suffering from good ol dry winter skin. Put lotion on after the shower, try Eucerin Calming Creme...one use and itll be gone, no joke.

Reply:Do you also have a fever? Years ago I turned bright red all over and slightly swallon. I don't remember the exact name of the illness, just that it was in the measle family of viruses. If you think you might have this, definitely make a doctor's appointment to get diagnosed. Oh, and I was vaccinated for measles, but apparently the vaccine didn't cover all the illnesses in this "family" of viruses.
