Reply:Put some Vaseline

at night then in the morning

put baby lotion on.
Reply:Drink more water.
Reply:Stay away from really hot showers. I know it's Winter but that's what causes dry skin; especially if you're already prone to it. If over-the-counter lotions don't work, go see a Dermatologist. There is a prescription lotion that works great....good luck!
Reply:Try baby oil on your wet skin after your shower, then dry off with your towel. This way the oil will be dried into your skin making you softer and it has a nice smell.
Reply:Curel Ultra Healing lotion is good. I started using it when I got my first tattoo. It's really good with dry cracked skin. You can get it at Walgreens, CVS, basically any drug store. Hope it helps.
Reply:Aveeno lotions are very good for really dry skin. You can get

free Aveeno bodywash, moisturizer, and cleanser samples.
Reply:You should right after you get out the shower, don't dry yourself off and put on lotion, then every time you wash your hands dry them off and put lotion, you should put a moisturizer everyday and carry an antibacterial lotion with you everyday. It may be annoying but it's all worth the process! ;-)
Reply:Have you had this dry skin a long time? Have you seen a doctor? My son had symptoms that sound very much like the one's you described. Turned out he has Eczema. His doctor prescribed this stuff called Acid Mantle cream, you can buy it at any pharmacy. It has really helped with his skin. I'd check it out.. it's a little more expensive than regular lotion, but it helps to restore the skins natural pH (slightly acidic) and allows it to heal and retain moisture better. Hope this helps! Good Luck!
Reply:If you drink coffee, the wet coffee grounds, by rubbing them into your skin can help also after you wash your skin in the shower, run a cold washcloth over the problem areas. As far as your face goes, using OLAY mosturizers are the best brand, just don't over do the lotion on your face.
Reply:Do not wash yourself with soap. That will dry your skin right out.Products that contain alcohol generally irritate the skin. I use Aqueous cream BP for my face. Its cheap and alcohol free!

Could my skin just be really really sensitive?

it seems like everything I use breaks out my skin! is this because its verry sensitive... or something else? But what? i know that I have extremely sensitive skin but i dont know what to do? And I have always had thiss like crop of whiteheads underneath my bottom lip there not visible unless I pull my lip up but there still anoying they have been there for many year. What are they and how to get rid of them!
Could my skin just be really really sensitive?
Quit playing with your face, wash often, have clean sheets - especially the pillow case.

See a dermatologist
Could my skin just be really really sensitive?
You should go see a doctor. I used something that broke out my skin really bad, so I went to the doctors and they told me which products to use for my skin. Maybe a deurmatologist can help?
Reply:i used to have the SAME EXACT PROBLEMS AS YOU. what i used/use to control my acne is pretty simple. In the beginning, when it was really bad, i washed my face with Clearasil acne clearing scrub. After most of my bad pimples went away, i started washing it with oil of olay foaming face wash. its really gentle and wont upset your skin. for spot treatment creams, try clean and clear persa gel 10. its the best one i've ever tried, and believe me, i've tried a lot of creams. good luck :)
Reply:I'd really consider seeing a doctor so

you can benefit from the right treatment

and get rid of it once and for all. There

are so many different products that

would clear it up without further frustration

and searching for the right cure.
Reply:ask a dermatologist coz they can give you the facts about you skin.. n treat whatever is needed..
Reply:you no my skin has been very sensitive all my life i have been using alphahydroxy foaming face wash for years and no soap and i tell you i have not had one pimple in years also it would not hurt to go see a dermatologist they can help out really good i also have rosesatia that's red spots on your cheeks so i use metrojel on that area works great good luck.
Reply:Make sure you're using oil-free products, and try products that say they're made for sensitive skin. There's a L'Oreal three-step acne fighting system that works pretty good, but the lotion it comes with can be very drying (especially for sensitive skin), so only use that lotion at night. But use the facewash and toner twice a day, and in the morning follow with an oil-free moisturizer that also fights pimples, such as Clean %26amp; Clear dual action moisturizer. You won't see results for about a week or two, but if after two weeks you still don't see your skin clearing, go see a dermatologist. He/she may prescribe you with Accutane, which is an oral medication for serious cases of acne that you take for about six months which I believe slows down the oil production of your skin. It works miracles, but can have bad side effects such as major drying out of the skin. It has also been linked to depression though, so make sure you talk to your doctor about that. Good luck! :-)
Reply:Are you sure that it is whitehead and not milia?

Fake tan on pale skin?

does fake tan work on pale skin? I've got really pale skin and my sister has red hair and doesn't tan naturally. Will fake tan work on either of us? Has anyone got really pale skin who uses fake tan? I know that sounds really stupid cos its designed for people without a tan!!
Fake tan on pale skin?
NOO!!! If you have fair skin, the worse thing you could do is use fake tan stuff. You should you the healthy glow stuff by aveno. It makes it tanner but you don't end up looking like a pumpkin.
Fake tan on pale skin?
Pale skin is the best.
Reply:really i dont know. i have natural tan skin but i think you should stick with pale skin. i have some friends with red or brown hair and pale skin and they look fine...even though theyre jealous of me. lol.
Reply:Don't do it. People will know it's a fake tan and won't think you look nice.
Reply:I have reallllly pale skin and I love it. Fake tans look orange. I wouldn't get one if I were you.
Reply:I am Scottish and have light hair and pale skin and whenever i have used fake tan it really does look fake. You could try your local beauty salon and ask the beautician her opinion ? I did try a really good one once though but its a bit pricey so gave up buying it. Its called St Tropez and comes in a coloured mousse so you can see where your applying it. Good luck !!!
Reply:HEY +? could u please email me?
Reply:I would recommend using jergens natural glow. The stuff works really good. i wouldnt tan in a tanning bed though. It'll ruin ur skin in the feauture.

Reply:if you look on youre right side of youre homepage on the corner you will see a little color ball that says skins then you click that little ball it will come up with bunches of different skins cover boxes above youre page then you can dedicate you what to use for youre homepage. but if you dont have that then you click on the other word thats high light thats next to the classic view ? anyways doesnt matter because youre homepage and everthing will looks as same thing before but the boxes will looks different ways. not hard to do.

I was told water helps the skin to stretch helping with stretchmarks how long before the results take place?

Im not sure how to word my question but my Dr. said drinking water helps the skin to stretch better during pregnancy helping reduce stretch marks but my question is how long do i need to be drinking water before my skin gets its maximum ability to stretch? for ex) should i have started drinking water right when i found out i was pregnant to prepare my skin or does the skin get moisturized by water as soon as its in your body? if you dont understand my question please be specific i will edit it because im having a hard time trying to explain what im thinking lol

You're doctor probably meant to increase your daily intake of water (or other non-caffeinated beverages) OVERALL. There is no magic amount of water, if that's what you're looking for. Also, too much water can be just as bad as not enough. You should be drinking 6-8 8 oz. glasses per day. Eight glasses is 48 ounces, or about three .5 liter bottles of spring water.

Also, go to your local drugstore and look for Palmer's Coco Butter cream or lotion. Using that throughout your pregnancy can help lessen the appearance of stretch marks.

I gained 101lbs when I was pregnant (I was huge) and don't have a single stretch mark. Your doc is right, and you should drink 8 glasses of water a day, starting today, not just because it will help with your skin's elasticity while pregnant, but also because it is the minimum for any human being at any point in their life. Also, what I did was to take daily baths with 1 cup of olive oil in it. It will keep it moisturized.

Horrible dry skin... Please help!?

I have dry skin around my mouth, it is so rank! I've tried everything! EA 8 hour cream, blistex, about 3 sorts of moisturizer.

I always have chapped lips and dry skin on my face. I hate it! Can anyone help??
Horrible dry skin... Please help!?
if creams and moisturizers don't work for you, i think it is time for you to see a skin doctor.
Horrible dry skin... Please help!?
omg i have that too! for you i would say to moisturize and exfoliate. try kirkland makeup remover in the white bottle at costco thats really good
Reply:try to use coconut oil, drink a lot of lemon and pineapple juice,

I think you have digestive problem and a lot of stomach gas, if so try to solve this problem first
Reply:I get the same problem from my acne medication. But moisturizer alone doesn't work. You also need to scrub your face about 1-3 times a day depending on how bad it is. I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub cause it's cheap and it works.
Reply:Hey try using a toner mask everyday around your dry patches, you can see the details in the source. It works wonder!
