My toe has had an ingrown toenail for a while. But now there is a piece of dead skin or a bubble of dead skin? under the big toe that has the ingrown toenail. It smells bad, as if it is infected. Anyone know whats happening? Or what it is?

It could be a fungal infection, they can smell bad too. If it isn't red or inflamed then I doubt it's an infection. You do need to have that ingrown toenail taken out, it's trapping all kinds of bacteria that's difficult to clean out and it's also penetrating your skin, which could lead to an infection. Meanwhile try some Lamisil until you can get that toe seen to.
