The skin colour of my penis is relatively the same as the rest of my skin, but on the front of the shaft I recently noticed a circular-shaped patch of dark (brownish) hardened, rough skin.
Is this because of dryness? Or an after effect of masturbation?

I would guess dryness, you may have used a weird lubricant during masturbation that drys skin though.

Reply:it might be a mix between dryness and after afect of masturbation. Certain substances used as lube can cause the skin to be irritated and cause dryness. Objects that meet this description are soap (bars) and some shampoo and conditioners. Switch lube to be more of a moisturizer and it should go away after a few weeks.. If it persists go see a doctor,
Reply:Nah, if you're circumcised, this is the circumcision scar. Are you talking about the darker ring of skin, with lighter skin near the head and slightly darker skin below? If so, that's the scar!
