im a lite skin african american n i cant understand y evertime im attracted to some1 lite skin they tell me that they r n to darkskin men, n it seems like the only girls that r attracted to me is darkskin,,,female i need advice....

Reply:do you have a preference? i WAS like that too. i only wanted to talk to dark skinned guys. that's because they act more black. at least that's what i thought plus i was a bit younger. now am married to a light skinned brother and even before we got married i had a issue with his complexion because so many white girls were attracted to him but i got over it. maybe the girls that are attracted to you just like you for who you are. and the dark skinned girls just feel like if a brother is darker he is more of a brother. it's weird with us black people and how we really think. but when you meet a girl you like light dark white whatever just be your self and if it's a sista just show her that you are a man regardless of your complexion. try to have something in common with her.
Reply:Maybe its not that they dont like other light skinned people, they just didnt find wat they were looking for in you. (no offense). But Im a light skinned African American and I get light skinned, white, and dark skinned girls. Its all about your approach to them and your confidence. You would be surprised at how many girls/women actually dont give a rats a** about the skin color/ ethnicity of a man. They just want a confident man......... WHO IS COMFORTABLE IN THEIR OWN SKIN!
Reply:U have a good point I am a Black female and I am not dark nor light but I do prefer darker brothers but I have a baby by a light skin brother I think the reason is that most light skin brothers have given me the image that they want to be prettier then I. Where as the darker brothers seem to keep it more real Sorry
