Dry Skin Around Mouth - Treatment?

My mom is getting really dry, flaky skin just around her mouth, specifically where you would drool...I do not know how to describe the area...but what is a good treatment, preferably natural to heal the skin? It is flaky and chafy...

if you go buy some petroleum jelly its really cheap and it works really good it moisturizes just put it on the dry area keep on till it soaks all the way in (it works by itself) and i usually use it while i sleep
