Help regarding skin care during swimming... any one?
For your hair: before you enter the water, soak your hair in fresh water. Then spray on leave-in conditioner. Wear a cap to protect yourself from splashes (unless you put your head under). This will protect your hair from the chlorine and keep it from turning green and brittle.
When you get out of the shower use a salt scrub (link to an excellent one below--this is what I use, and I get it from this person). The salt removes the chlorine smell from your skin. Then wash with soap or shower gel and then moisturize. You can't moisturize enough when you keep soaking yourself in chlorine. (I know, I do an 80 minute water aerobics workout 3x a week.)
You can put moisturizer on your face before you go in the water if you want to. Give it a few minutes to sink in.
For your eyes, wear goggles, there's not much else you can do there.

Well, for your hair you could rinse it out after you swim then put conditioner in it. thats what i do. for your eyes, you could try wearing goggles when you go swimming. as for the rest, i really dont know.
Reply:wear goggles,and swim cap.
Reply:Clorinated water is actually good for oily skin since it dries out skin, for your eyes, keep them closed or wear goggles, and use eye drops after, for your hair rinse, and then apply basic conditioner (no shampoo) right after your done.
Reply:You should not swim while the sun is very strong. The water of the swimming pool contains chlorine and if you develop allergy from chlorine then go to your doctor and stop swimming for sometime.
Meanwhile, your skin may become very dry after a swim, bring a moisturizer along.
