I have them on the edges of my nose and..(gasp) I ahve a party on Friday so if I can't get rid of 'em a good coverage would be fab! Anywayyy, I used to pick my spots on the edge of my nose but I completely stopped, so I have minor scars which I hope will eventually heal like my others, and now I THINK I have dry skin with it; I see bits of skin flakes on the scars. Please confirm this and, apart from time, tell me a good helper to ease my skin. I also have spots on my forehead, tips for getting rid of 'em (not necesdsarily by Friday but tips on getting rid of them. thanks a bunch).
Annoying spot scars/dry skin. Help?
Firstly never pick spots as you will get permanent scars and they won't go away. My daughter has picked spots on her face and now she can not get rid of them. Bio-Oil is very good for scars but you need to use it constantly, it's very good for the skin also. You can buy it from Boots, or any leading chemist, you can even get it from Asda. It's about 拢8 per bottle but well worth the money.
You have to use it on a daily basis and you can use it on your face also.

To get rid of the flakes, use an exfoliant to smooth the area. There are some products that are supposed to reduce the appreance of scars -- I've heard of one called mederma, and I've also heard good things about cocoa butter. This is the website for mederma. http://www.mederma.com/
Reply:i think that there is a lotion for that. Dior makeup.
$78.00 for the lotion and $300.00 for the whole kit.
Reply:antioxidant skin treatments really help. one in particular called vitashield opc3 triple serum is a preventative treatment that clears up scars, stretch marks, and is great for individuals with rosacea too.
you should take a look at it, you will see and feel results quickly.

Reply:Yogurt-honey combination helps dry skin. Make an egg pack with a yolk, a teaspoon of honey, a tablespoon of milk powder. This is beneficial to dry skin types. There are many helpful tips to cure dry skin at http://useinfo-dryskin.blogspot.com/
Reply:You probably have spots because your skin is dry!
With dry skin, your pores over produce sebum to compensate which leads to spots.
Exfoliate and moisturise regularly - I don't think you need to use any expensive moisterisers - I swear my Nivea in the blue tin, especially in winter. Do not use an abrasive facewash, like ones designed for spots. Something PH neutral is good and don't cost the earth.
Heating and air con might also be drying your skin out. Moisterise about 3-4 times a day and keep pots of water near your radiators to humidify the room.
Finally, pure vitamin E oil is fantastic for scars, dry spots etc. I also use it for bruises! It's amazing how fast and unblemised you'll heal. You can get it from healthfood stores and I use it twice a day on scratches etc. On scars like the ones on your nose I would use it over night.
PS - spots on your forehead could be down from oil on your hair depensing on your hair style. Keep you hair pulled back for a few days and follow the above, see if it clears.
