Is Aluminum Chloride safe to the skin?

i want answers from the experts on this field like Dermatologists. i have heard that the solution Aluminum Chloride can be used as a skin whitener. i am an Asian so as you guys know, brown-skinned asians are crazy about skin-whiteners. but i am happy with my color, my only concern is the dark areas of my skin. according to that friend of mine, the Alumium Chloride is recommended to her by a dermatologist. is the solution safe to use? is it effective? thank you very much for answering. :)

I am not a dermatologist, but aliminium chloride is NOT safe for the skin. I belive what you're referring to is the fact that a very weak version of A.C is used in some skin whiteners, but without proper dilution it can actually strip your skin off, don't use it.

If you are after skin whiteners, there is a procedue which costs $200, and you can read about it at this site:

Or there is a cream you can order fairly cheap from this site:

Hope this helps!
