I want to protecting my skin from the bad rays from the sun. I was thinking about using clean and clear morning glow for my face which has sunscreen in it....(SPF 15.) Im scared that this will make my face even more tanner because i am very tan as is. Is there a type of sunscreen or sunblock that i can use on my face that will not make me any darker?? Since my skin tans so easily will it age faster? Will i get darker if i didnt put on sunscreen vs. if i put sunscreen? (cause i know sunscreen absorbs the sunlight or something) Can someone please explain this to me?
Protecting my skin?
You may be a bit confused about sunscreen and tanning lotion. Sunscreen or sunblock either absorbs UV, which protects your skin from it (your skin doesn't absorb rays, the lotion does), or reflects it, which also protects it. Tanning is the skin's response to damage, and sunscreen helps prevent damage. Therefore, you will not tan as much if you use it.
Tanning lotion or tanning oil is to help you tan, which definitely wouldn't help your skin.
Protecting my skin?
You need a sun-blocker of SPF 30. I say 30 because my shirts, shorts and hat are protected for 30.
Good luck
